does anyone know why after you have spent ages on making your addon then the game tells you that it doesn't like it, so then you change it and suddenly when its all ok and the game likes it, it crashes to the desktop when you try to use it for the first time?

No idea, but Im having exactly the same problem with my new weapon addon. As soon as i start a mission it crashes straight away, with no explanation. This is becoming a frequent problem! http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

This is most likely an Addon Config question. Moving http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

check to see if your models="" is refrenced correctly to a model, otherwise It will crash...

nope. Thats fine in my addon. And my addon is only 939Kb in size, so its not that which is crashing it or stopping that binarize thing from working http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

does your model work?, test your model with another classing

I.E make it STATIC

If it crashes, then your model has some problems... http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
If it didn't crash, then you need some polishing on your .cpp skills http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Good Luck! http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/xmas.gif
