Air defense system?

Is it possible to Build a Patriot Air Defense System that could destroy Missiles and aircrafts?
Hope that is possible!

I suppose it would be possible to destroy(or block) projectiles with other projectiles (for example G8's flares), but I don't think you'd be able to target let alone lock onto a projectile, and therefore AI wouldn't target it.
