Hi

Im making a HUD for my helicopter. So far its got an artificial horizont and a compas at the top. So far, ive used a graphical bar to display airspeed, but I want a numerical value like in the oficial Cobra. Anyone know how to display text/numbers on a HUD?

Hi there

Now thats easy, sure you know that. Think man! Jeezez....anyway:

Make a plane in front view in memory lod and delete the face. Viewed from the back, name each vertex this.

Left bottom: HUD LD
Right bottom: HUD PD
Left Top: HUD LH
Right Top: HUD PH

This will let you display the default HUD that came with the Cobra and Apache.

I will let it pass for this time, but next time I better....ehh. I mean YOU, better think before asking. Easy stuff man.....
