Following up on Suma's suggestion, I'm posting this small description of my mod for anyone interested. Suggestions, comments, etc about the mod are very welcome!

The mod takes place on Everon, 10 years after Guba's invasion. Like so many other places, when trouble first arrives, it's there to stay for a very long time. Ever since the NATO pullout on Everon, the island has been split, as several parties have all claimed their rights to govern and reshape the island.
The two most notable ones are the original FIA and the ERP (Everon Reformation Party). As they are unable to come to terms and the violence on Everon escalates, UN and NATO must come to action.
The player will begin the campaign as a British soldier, in the first batch to arrive on Everon and must participate in shaping the zones of seperation. Later the player will be able to play other characters too. The main reason for more than 1 character, is that I've "disabled" the ability to be a multi-role warrior, i.e. infantry will not know how to fly a chopper, etc.
So stealing tanks or choppers and raping the island is impossible. This is very important for the whole concept, as the idea is to make the player feel like a small piece of a huge unsolvable puzzle, not like James Bond. Therefore it will never be possible (nor the goal of a mission) to eliminate all enemy presence in sight. They are much too strong. This I hope will give a feeling of a world which is larger than you.
Another aspect is alignment. You can't tell by a uniform if someone will be hostile or not. They might approve of your presence or they might not. They might fire at you or they might not. That's the tough part of peace keeping. You're never sure about anything.
Since the player starts out as a Brit, I will be making a couple of British vehicle and weapon models, like the Challenger, Warrior IFW, Mag, L96 (Arctic Warfare series) and SA-80.
Also some SAS specific equipment, like the FN Minimi (which has been released as beta) and H&K MP5a3. But what is the SAS doing in a UN campaign, you may ask? Wait and find out http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Other unit addons will be made for the ERP and FIA to enhance their guerilla style warfare. I have already incorporated many of these into the missions, they will just need some model work. Among these are the Gimbal Planes I have already released, as well as a Jeep with RPG launcher on the back (like in Black Hawk Down). This has been modified so the gunner will also fire at infantry with it... truly nerve-breaking, when they come racing over the hills http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
They will also be having stationary 30mm AAA in sandbag implacements, to make pilots think twice about crossing the no-fly zone barriers.
Anyway, if you're not bored yet, you can read the official story introduction and see a few screens of earlier unit addons
