Well I'm working on Retaliation Mod
first we were going to make a simple campaign, but then decided to add couple of new vehilces and choppers, and weapons of course
U've probably already seen our demo-mission and the trailer
If you didn't here's short description of our mod
"After a series of terrorist acts, local government asked Russia to intervene Everon with a peacekeeping force, for the purpose of establishing peace and supervision of conflicting sides. Our military were called to protect civilians from the atrocities of numerous rebels and "freedom fighters". Due to important strategic location of the island, western politics could not accept Soviet forces being on Everon. So, the extremists were supported in various ways. The rebels were financed and provided with arms, they were tutored by the best CIA specialists. After a series of events, the special forces of the USA staged an armed overthrow of the local government. Their goal was physical termination of pro-Soviet government executives and kicking of our forces off from the island. However, because of heroic stand-offs of our soldiers, the rules of the game were changed. As a result of the revolution, Soviet forces on Everon lost contact with the rest of the Red Army. When the colonel Blake with his men made a landfall on the shore, he was met not by the friendly rebels, but by the bullets of the Russian limited contingent under general Gubin's command. That was the beginning of an armed conflict of 1985, which western historians called "Operation Flashpoint - Cold War Crisis".
The main character of the campaign, private Dmitry Astakhov, came to Everon in a peacekeeping contingent before the clash of our forces with NATO. While fighting there he met friends whom he will remember for the rest of his life: young and foolhardy pilot Vassily Tarakanov, veteran spetsnaz fighter Andrei Selivanov who also goes by "Boa", sensible tankman Kolesnikov and many others. They all are very different, but the fate has brought them together for an internicine battle on a piece of land so small, that it is not even marked on most of the maps."
