Vaz is Lada. Original name is Vaz but it&#39;s sold in western countries under name Lada. Lada is name of the factory if I remember correct?

Wartburg...

The Wartburg was much better than the Trabant, it has to be considered  as one of eastern Blocks upper middle class cars.

*edit* If I can make a request for anyone who is interested in making Eastern cars, this one  would make my day. Together with the Zhiguli and the Polska they make up the majority of cars that I saw in my childhood until I came to Canada 10 years ago:
