Projectile glow.....

If you read my latest post, you would know i am making a new projectile. Here is my question for it. It is a green ray type thing. The problem is, when it fires, it emits the white light, as most do. I was wondering, is there a way to change this light, and make it green? Sorry for being vague, but its kinda hard to explain.



P.S.

I am using a rocket at the moment, would it be better to use a missle.
