Here's an intro to modelling an airplane in Oxygen. To make this model ensure you have read the excellent tutorials by Zwader, Scorpio and Vixer BEFORE attempting this tutorial.
Colonel_Klink's Tutorial Pages (http://www.dc3d.co.nz/tutorials/Index.htm)
This tutorial will be a growing series beginning a model from scratch and getting it to fly in OFP.
Enjoy

Can I post a translated version on my site? Cause not many people understand English.

It's only the most common language on the net http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I could do a Swedish translation, though I doubt there is much use for one. If enough swedes contact me through PM, I'll give it a try http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Excellent tutorial. I am sure that it will help many people with the basics of low-poly modeling http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Klink are you going to add any more pages to this guild?

I'm sure alot of new model makers would find very handy.

Any ipdate on the plane making guide, as interested in the leading edge feature you've added to the A4.

Hi DragoFire
No news on an update sorry. I have just returned to school (a 50 year in shorts and socks pulled up... erk&#33http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif, to learn 3d animation, film scripting sound and editing, so my time on my home comp is somewhat limited.

I will however update as soon as I have some free time.

As for the animated leading edge, it is no different than the custom gear tutorial on my website.. just need to set object and pivot names and animate them. I use a script called from the config file that only operates the leading edge automatically at certain speeds. Hope this is helpful.
