View Full Version : Help with textures for my ak5b sd
Since I **** at making textures I was wondering if anyone would like to help me make them.
The model is finished and the CPP-file is almost done.
Here are some screens of it in-game.

No, dead links here too.
Try uploading the screens to http://www.imgstudio.com/, a good FREE image host. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Your weapon has no shadow http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
Yes, I know. It's a very stealthy weapon http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
(I will fix it later)

Done, thanks bro.
Would anyone like to help me with the textures and the LODs? This is my fist time making an addon so I kind of **** at making anything else than the model (and I think I'm getting the hang of making CPP-files also http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif )
Well I recommend actually trying to skin it yourself. Get info on UV mapping. You can skin from photographs and it should look great. Here is a link to a place that has loads of information http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~polycount/ubb/Ultimate.cgi
Maybe look into downloading the Deep UV (http://www.righthemisphere.com) demo. Its a really cool tool and fully functional for 30 days. Just dont go messing with your clock or else it will deactivate.
If you intend to create models and things for ofp its best to learn UV mapping and graphics work yourself.
I hope you find this helpfull. If you have more questions feel free to ask
