some pics of very accurate hmmwv's under development by MAAC/Marfy.
they look good!
Impressive http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif
Yep, MAAC and Marfy have done some of the best re-textures I've seen in OFP. Sheer quality. And that Humvee looks superb. I wonder how that managed to edit the BIS model like that? I didn't know the tools for doing so were available yet? Also, I hope they make a woodland camo version of that Humvee, or at least just edit the existing BIS version to have the .50 on top. Drool. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Maybe they made an entirely new model.
Well if they did it has a remarkable similarity to the BIS one. It also looks like their original Humvee re-texture but with 'new bits' added, which is what makes me believe it is the BIS model.

I had assumed this forum was for editors themselves...

looks great but one comment: the gunner is way too high. They should lower him so its shoulders and up, not belly and up. This way he is a great target for anyone.
maybe he is in turn out position atm http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Very nice...but since I dont play on desert islands much, I wonder if someone will do a reskin in the "standard" Hummer colours when it is released.

Cool, now they have a TOW launcher ingame that looks great on the Hummer.
They say that they will also include an M60 and a Mk-19.
Great Work ! ! !
I love the fact that they're making all four armament variations but I REALLY hope they make woodland camo versions of them as it would be far more useful in general than the desert ones IMO. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
toward the bootm of the page it says that the next version will be woodland cammo "with lots of mud" http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I wonder what they are gonna do with the TOW since the engine doesnt allow missles to be fired from wheeled vehicles??

Yeah! And also an avenger version (stinger-launcher) and ambulance! http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
I'm really looking forward to it!

hmmmm, its not possible for a car to fire missiles so im wondering how they did the avenger? i also dont think grenades work on cars...so thats the mk 19 out...unless they use a way of making grenades with bullets same with missiles(cant be tracking though, pretty useless on an avenger and TOW version)

From Ofp.info:
"Guess what is Marfy from DesertOFP:Lavos doing right now? He is making new textures for Hummer with TOW :o) TOW will be also for static posts, so we can look forward to it :o)"
