View Full Version : O2 warning texture file name too long
Sep 14 2002, 23:19
Howdy -- I am working through the M16 tutorial provided for O2 and while trying to paste the texture on to the receiver part of the M16 and press B, as per instructions, I get a, Warning Texture File name too long... Any ideas on how to remedy this? Or is this why we are supposed to put the Oxygen reader and related files in the root directory -- to keep the filenames short? Thanks in advance. Uncle

That's it... The path name to the texture files I was using was too long -- when I tried to use textures that were in the O2 directory, which is nested about 3-4 levels deep... Uncle

Simply renaming the texture files to something like 'side.pac' should work http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
