funny thing is how the votes were really unanimous. I guess other congressman felt that he was a threat to them, or he just lost respect from his fellow crooks.

amzingly, he is a 9-term congressman. so here arises another question: does representation adequately represnt ppl, or does it wobble?

What is even more frightening than a lawmaker ending his rants in the Senate with Star Trek references ("Beam me up, Scotty&#33;") is the fact that he was elected in the first place -- that means that he got more votes than someone else. Is it total apathy, or widespread idiocy that makes people vote for a fool like that?
