Sven Hassel (coop 32 players)

August 1944, Baranow.

Remnants Wehrmacht Strafbattalion 666 (penal unit) has been trapped behind Soviet lines after recent assault by the 10th Guards Tank Corps. Recent air attacks against the retreating battalion have decimated the unit and only a few operational vehicles remain. The battallion must avenge the fallen comrades by wreaking havoc behind Soviet lines and then break throught back to nearest German units across the river.

- Capture immobilized King Tiger.
- Capture supply depot.
- Destroy Josif Stalin II.
- Kill traitorous Colonel.
- Get King Tiger back to German lines.

Wonderful Blake! I read "all" Hassel books when I was young (104 years ago).

Sven was one of my favourite authors as well, I have every book in paperback (except Wheels of Terror IIRC) in my Mum's attic :)

Hello all

I always saw his books in the shops but wrote them of a SS "ghoul" literature.

After posting here i got hold of some excerpts of his first book, and i'm mightily impressed.

Not a happy fun read, but riveting stuff.

So again, thanks for the mission and finding me an new author to explore.

We were playing this mission in a bit chaos on Ugly Bastard server from Abbath, but or in the chaos we lost the fuel truck or there is not fuel truck to refuel the King Tiger and bring it back to base?

I think the issue with the fuel truck is just we havn't found it yet.

Most folk are ramboing in rather than playing with any thought.

Many folk are crying for respawn but im happy being a bird when I die, it enforces a feeling of fear that you only have one life. Just like the good old days IMHO.

Since nobody said they had the fuel truck, or another way to fuel the king tiger (just ordering me to drive but HOW WITHOUT FUEL XD) I went back to base but didn't saw any fuel truck so I left after that since we were stuck anyway if nobody is really communicating :p

and agree no respawn or just 1 or 2 (because sometimes I die at start because I get in a PAK gun move it, flying , get out , die) :p

anyway this are the early days chaos will leave later on

I think the fuel truck is something we as a team have to find/steal.

There's fuel truck at the depot, which you need to use to refuel the King Tiger.
