I JUST bought this game yesterday and I am at a total loss on how to play it.

I printed the manual from Steam and it does not show any keyboard commands such as is listed in the options section of the game so I am having to type every one of them out.

I have a Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X V.2 joystick. It only works some axis's and not in yaw. Is ther a how-to on how to program a joystick here on the forum?

Also, is there a way to view your helicopter from the outside? I can't seem to find a command for that anywhere.

Thanks.

Welcome Jack

Arma/Toh Key (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v482/SCAVENGER1/ARMA%202/armacontrols2vh3.jpg)

Press Num Enter to get the 3rd person view.
To set up your joystick go to option, command, select for exemple cyclic foward, then just push your cyclic.

Hope it help.

My bad. This map is for ARMA, not Take On Helicopters. Oh well, it coulda been useful. :(

JackSawyer - Arma and Take On Helicopters use the same engine (ok, ok, virtually the same engine) - there are very few keys that are different. The one that comes to mind is the SPACE BAR, which in Arma is select all units, but in ToH it is Auto Hover toggle.

Also if you're using a HOTAS joystick then you probably won't use the keyboard that much.
