How do you change the controls to manipulate the exterior camera?

Hey, when in the exterior view mode, I use my joystick's top hat... however, the direction it goes is completely opposite from any other game's setup. If I'm behind the bird and press the tophat to the right, the tail moves to the right showing me the LEFT side of the bird. If I press the tophat up (forward), it shows me the BOTTOM of the bird.

IS there a config file to edit to reverse these directions? It's completely backwards for me from what I'm used to.

Press Echap, go control, unbind and rebind your HAT as you want...

go into the options > controls, then select all controls from the drop-down list and check your left/right/up/down for the POV hat are set correctly.

if they set correctly are but it is still backwards for you, then remap them backwards so it’s right for you, i.e. map rights to lefts and up’s to downs etc.

Yea i have a question... i am at the mission 03: the cove, where you film the whales.
But i don't seem to find any. I have filmed about 40% than found the wrecked ship, than i have flown for about 20 min not finding anything to film. i have my difficulty set at medium, so i don't see the next mission objective. Help?

Open your map "M" or "," or... Then place a waypoint by holding "Shift" and press left click on the map where the wales SHOULD be.
