First military flashback mission problem

So, I've done all the training and played the first part of the story fine. Now the flashback military story starts and I'm sitting in my chopper but I can't move my POV up, free look with the mouse is the same. I can swing my POV from left to right but not up. I haven't changed a thing in the config. Really annoying as I was loving TOH so far but at the moment I can't continue.

Did you patch the game during the campaign? Is the POV still working in other missions?

I restarted TOH and it all seems fine now.
