Hi.
I´ve read all threads at this Forum, but i didn´t found anythin about MODs,
where teams a allready working on, or that are planned to be done.
Is there any team starting to work on a mod, after release of the full version
of TOH?

Addon = Addition - additional content to a game

You probably meant addons, right? Or what kind of modification you were thinking of?

kinda hard to work on a mod or decide what mod to make when the game hasn't been released and nobody really has any idea what the game will be like tomorrow in its release state except the devs.

So common sense would make me say "No." However, I am nobody so does that mean I have any idea? Hmmm.. good question (mine that is) :P

On a more serious note, there are probably no mods or anything planned at the moment except possible some ideas kicking around in peoples minds. But like I said above, it would be hard to plan anything (re-donk-u-luss) with out seeing how the final game looks (Minus of course the many patches and improvements post launch that BIS seems to support their products with).

One thing I am certain of though, if sales are good I bet there will be an expansion! :D

I've been thinking about ways to make an alien invasion mod work in the context of the game. Basically an Independence Day / Battle:LA style theme where the player would take part in the evacuation of Seattle while an aereal battle rages around him, and with the occasional combat mission to keep things varied. :)

I think something like that would be pretty cool, but unfortunately don't have the time to actively pursue such a project.

Addon = Addition - additional content to a gameIt's very hard to differ between both of them, there is no fixed border in OFP/ArmA/ArmA2/ToH
A weapons/units/vehicles and islands are in 99% clear addons, but things like new animations/functionalities to climb over walls etc. could change the gameplay like a 'large' Mod.
Otherwise a huge Pack of additional objects without any gameplay changes in any kind should be called a Mod.

Started on CBA eXtended EventHandlers (XEH) - but awaiting full game release for final config :)

Oh yeah. :D

Seriously looking forward to seeing what the aircraft specialists in this community can produce. Some more military missions and perhaps even campaigns surely won't hurt the game. :)

Ive made this for Take on Helicopters, just waiting for release of game so i can test it in game and release to the community :D

I prefer the Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mod_(computer_gaming)):
An add-on or addon is a (usually small) mod which adds to the original game's content.
meaning "modding" is an umbrella term for all kinds of changes, addons (big and small) and conversions (full or partial) included.

I think this game would be a good base for MODs that bring as back to
the old "gunship2000" or Novalogics "Comanche" games.
Also MODs for more commercial flights would be perfectly fit into TOH.
There was many "simulator" like games at the 1990´s, but at the last 10
years, i only seen new arcade style games at the market.
TOHs engine and flight model is the first game since e decade, that offers
all what a community needs to make some simulator games for grown ups
that got sick of arcade games.

If it is supportable I will be porting my electrical grids addon to TOH. I also did some preliminary work on a natural disaster addon (earthquakes and tornados mostly) for OA that never made it to alpha but might be a good fit for TOH for rescue scenarios
