none of us are ever going to be able to play on VBS, so WHY oh WHY do people keep going nuts over the new pics,, all it does is make me cry even more,, AND im all cried out..

People keep going nuts because Independace Lost or the next incarnation of Flashpoint will likely use a similar engine to VBS.

Even the current engine is prett sweet, all things considered. I was driving around Everon the other day in an M1, and I flashed back to the days of the original M1 Tank Platoon from Microprose. Exactly, Flashpoint is the best looking game i've seen , and creates the best atmosphere i've seen in any game ( like Falcon 4.0 ) . And when someone says Soldiers of Fortune or Ghost Recon or any crap game like that has beter graphics then Flashpoint, I still think Flashpoint wins. And not because the graphics are good, but the whole game is just awesome !! Anywats, About that VBS thing; I think there will be a day in near future when we will be enjoying gamesthat look like the VBS stuff. They won't make a game like that just for military ways, and if they did, they will sure give us something that is pretty much the same ...
