View Full Version : Ofp: resistance delayed?
Any confirmation on this? But makes sense since to my knowledge OFP: Resistance has not gone gold yet...

Is that worldwide? Or everywhere but north america?

probably everywhere except NA. NA tends to be late in original and RH release. bit let's see what happens

Hmmm - it's already 13th and very little marketing material is out yet. I wonder if this is a good sign, but let's sure hope they got ready with the coding.
*Sigh* The worst nightmare I've got that the same kind of beta testing is ahead again as it was a year ago as I started with 1.0. My computer used to hang up each hour etc. etc. but when asking was it worth it - yes it was - experience of OFP was totally something new. Now after having had the opportunity to play with troublefree OFP since last december or so I do not expect to go through the same learning curve again. Let's keep our fingers crossed that they're ready with the program as the production must be on-going as I type this.

U obviously havent heard the story about when they sent it to Codemasters last year?
Lol... i dont know where i read it, but they had huuuge problems and sent it several times. They even sat and coded like a couple of hours before the game went gold (or should have). Any1 remember where it was?

It was in a OFP development diary by BIS. I don't know where it is, but a link was posted here once.

I'd rather wait longer than getting a buggy game.
BTW, does anyone know if it's best to keep carrots in the plastic bag or spread freely on a shelf in the fridge?

Hm. I didn't discover a single bug in v1.0 lol http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif. The game was perfectly enjoyable. Why wait longer if it wasn't even so buggy. Anyways. Patches fix everything. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Peel, rinse very well and refridgerate in a covered glass or plastic container filled with water. Change the water every 3-4 days. Cold, crispy, crunchy carrots guaranteed, unless you bought them soggy to begin with. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Yes. To make the last even longer, when you change the water, rinse the carrots again and also the container.

Whatever I said about carrots can be done with celery and other crisp vegetables (radishes, for example).
You can also do it with cigarettes and I'm sure you'll stop smoking in no time. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

If you ever notice when you cut a carrot and place then in a container with water all the good vitiams go to the water.Taste the water it will taste like a carrot and the water maybe orange too.

Wow! This thread is lasting longer than a carrot can stay crisp refrigerated in water! http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif
The water will only have a slight taste and discoloration. Actually, just as it was doing back in the ground, the carrots continue to draw in water. This is similar to the celery in the colored water science experiment we all did back in 2nd grade. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Err... ok.
