I'm just wondering if there are any user made mods that stop me from getting out of vehicles whenever the AI tells me to disembark (or a mod that just stops them from using that command all-together).
It's bothering me mostly when i'm playing multiplayer with my buddies. Usually there are only 3-4 of us, and so we sometimes supplement our ranks with AI. Generally I play squad leader, but then, crap happens and i get killed and an AI takes over as leader. (if there is some way to stop that from happening too it would be nice)
For example i've got a custom mission right now (operation sky sweeper) where we start off on an aircraft carrier and get in some helo's and jets and have to fly out to the island and defend a point. The map is set up for infinite lives, and usually when i die it still keeps me as squad leader. every once in a while though it will throw command to an AI guy who immediately tells you to disembark the moment you get in anything. Effectively keeping us stuck on the carrier and making the mission unplayable. (can't turn off ai either)
is there any way to stop the AI from actually ejecting you upon command? I think i know better than they do. . . . .
