Cti with AI - Able to fly aircraft yourself? mod?

the CTI games are awesome, but It only lets me chose to be a squad leader for lan games I make (I dont want to really go play with other people and lag)

Is there a mod or something that i can do that will allow me to fly the planes/helis as a squad leader? or allow me to take over my squad peeps and be them so I can be a pilot I hire?

I like having AI in the game again cause im not gonna be playing with people

Is there such a thing?

Don’t quite understand your question..

Are you making missions in the editor and want to occasionally play as other members of your team whilst you fly around ordering them to do things ?

Also you do not have to be the squad leader all the time, work within a AI controlled team as a junior member

All this is available in the mission editor, you don’t need a mod for that

actually i was being stupid lol, you can pilot things as a squad leader I was just not doing it right so nm,

HOWEVER I do have one more stupid question (I am a huge noob)

How do I get fixed wing aircraft to spawn (jets and such) in CTI mode

I can get the helis to work but even after I have an airfield I dont see how to get them to come,

I searched for it on google, but to no avail it said something about a triangle but I see no triangle? Thanks!

I tried another map and there was a circle on a hanger and that worked, however i believe the map was taike or w/e the big desert one

it doesnt have any circle nor triangle there?

can you just not make one there?

also why are their 2 ah-64ds in the heli unit set? are there any differences? lol

or just buggy game?
