Someone make an M134 Minigun. Infantry would have this. Instead of firing explosive rounds it would fire bullets at an insane rate of fire. It could take out large groups of an infantry and lightly armored targets. The model would look like a minigun and the user would have a ammo backpack. If you have seen Predator or Terminator 2, you know what I'm talking about. Please give me some feedback.

The problem with high fire rate is theammount of data that is processed from the server. Eg in multiplayer it would getreal laggy!

that hand helled minigun? no! no unit actually uses that

if you want high rate of fire, ask for an MG3

The M134 has only ever been used mounted on vehicles. A concept design for a handheld version did exist, but due to astronomical recoil has never been used by any soldier ('cept in the movies).

I've worked it out before...but I have mind strain and my head hurts...so I won't. but believe me...it'll break your arms.

Yeah the recoil for the hand-held version they designed, needed a tripod with two support legs behind the shooter, needed to be transported by a team of people, and still had so much recoil that accurate firing was impossible.

Ie. you couldn't hit the side of a barn at fifty paces.

A handheld minigun is unrealistic but we should get them on vehicles like the blackhawk - if it caused too much slowdown for mp then just use in sp.

I was lookin up info on handheld minguns & I couldn't really find much information other than vehicle mounted versions. Even if we couldn't get a handheld model, it would be nice to have one a chopper. So here's my recomendation. http://www-acala1.ria.army.mil/LC/CS/Csa/ach47a2.htm

And one minute of fire at miniguns rate of fire weights about 250 kg so... http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

It's funny when people ask for things that are completly impossible for the engine.

Why don't we have light sabers? maybe even a Death Star too and Darth Vader skins to beef realism a tad.

man

these requests are dumb
this would kill the realism

do you think there in 1985 they were giving vulcans to infantry?

stupid

i can understand vehicle mounted m2hb

How about a pink kitten? A little pussycat that you can carry around in your backpack and unleash at your discretion.

just thinkin don't kill me over it. It would be cool on a blackhawk though.

Just because the thing can put out 10000 round a minute in real life doesn't mean it would be designed like that in the game. I don't think the G3 or the Steyer pump out in the game what they do in real life. The Steyer's rate is something like 680 rpm in real life, in the game it's gotta be something around 200 to 300 a minute. The G3's a little better, but still I doubt it actually fires 750 rpm in the game.

I downloaded an add on. It was the Steel M249 Saw. I put on time acceleration up to four times and it worked fine the game didn't lag. Anyways just wondering.

Why dont we have light sabers and a Deathstar ?

And I would like to see the airship Hindenburg as well, cause we could simulate a real cool fire with it.

And plz plz BIS, add some sheep, I realy like sheep (for reasons I cant get into atm cause my wife is watching)

The hand held mini gun in predator was a prop so mr ventura could look bad ass. Infantry units don't actually use them.

Make it sound fast like make it so there is sound constantly. Make it 300 rounds per minute like that other guy said.

I had a talk a while back with a guy who repairs the m61a1 in the F-16's our airforce uses. He explained to me the stresses that firing the gun causes on the airframe. Wouldnt firing a minigun (m61a1 is a chaingun? atleast its lotsa rotating barrels 8 i believe) do serious damage to the bones in ur arms? If it causes hairline fractures in a aircraftpart, it most definatly has the ability to turn the bones in ur arms in to dust .... atleast thats what im figuring. And the recoil has to be enormous so aiming it would be impossible. So ur back to firing shoirt burst which ud be better of using ur trusty m16 for. IMHO offcourse

this isn't UT its a game based on the Cold War crisis and at that time there were or the thought of a 6 barrels minigun but you could submit your ideas to a website that is working on a futuristic mod or a present day one.
