Yeah, they are actually really nice phones. Microsoft did a great job with the operating system on that phone.

Maybe, but seeing it wouldn't even sync with Microsoft Outlook, they lost to an iPhone instead, and boy am I glad I did!

Just bought it for my Xoom, it isn't available for HTC Incredible yet... have to wait until after work to try it though. Looks interesting.

The android version is good on the Xoom, except that openfeint crap errors all the time and you have to restart the game. I made a review on android market but i suspect the devs deleted after about 10 minutes, due to my bad review .
Don't get me wrong, the game is cool, but game play is spoilt beyond belief due to open feint crapware.. Recommend NOT buying until they fix the problem.

This is the first paid app I intended to buy for my Atrix, but it turns out you have to have a credit card to buy apps in the Android market. The fuck?

Nope, we really can not delete any reviews...
What exactly are the problems you experience with the openfeint or with the game in general?
stevejau
Jul 29 2011, 12:01
the problem i have and have had since downloading it on my 3G Australian Xoom is that upon opening the game, openfeint craps out and sits there like a deer in headlights, forcing you to re start the game, getting the game restarted is fine then, load up a gun and range, fire away, leave range and openfeint pops up again with the ooops 404 error and sits there again like a deer in the headlights. totally spoils the whole game.. why even put that crapware on the game anyway.

We are going certainly to look at this problem. OpenFeint is not perfect but so far seemed to be best choice for handling achievements and ladders but it is unforunate that you are having this problem. Making it optional probably could be welcome addition anyway.

Jul 29 2011, 12:11
thanks for that. can you implement that option as soon as possible please, before i delete the game.
And android market might be worth a phone call or email, for if as you say you do not delete reviews, i assure you i posted 2 and within 15 minutes they were pulled down.

Doesn't seem to work properly in the Australian android market. Try to buy it an it starts loading the agreement then says the app can't be found.

Any plans for an android application about the ARMA2 2D editor? so people can create missions that can later be played in a PC?

I like this idea, but wasn't there a website that did this already? I'll be damned if I can remember the name though. Either way, if that site works on mobile platforms, then BIS won't need to develop their own product for the Android/iPad.

I will buy this, as soon as it becomes available on Windows Phone 7 or all android devices.
Hell, please make an executable version as well. Just like they did with the old ArmA II flash game. I have that on my PC now lol.
Unable to purchase, product not available on the market. Withdrawn ?
Initially it is exclusively available through Tegra Zone http://www.nvidia.com/object/tegra-zone.html for 2 months. Afterwards for other Android devices and iOS also. We are thinking about PC version running on FB or web browser.
There is already new version 1.01 with Nvidia where is additional option to switch on/off Openfeint. Should be updated very soon on the market.
We are currently also experiencing problems with downloads directly from TegraZone. It is possible to buy directly from PC once you have attached Tegra 2 device to google account. We are pushing the fix as we can.

Hi guys, Non-Tegra version is already prepared including new career mode and additional firing range. We only have to work around the fact that Google is not supporting selling apps from Czech Republic. We hope to solve it in January.
I thought that was already somewhat possible (This guy is a czech developer and he has a pro version of his widget sold on Android Market). (https://market.android.com/details?id=cz.jhg.musiccontrolwidget.pro) I guess it's still not that easy..

Same thing here, I'm using an HTC Desire S.
Maybe we are a little to quick off the block.
Maruk ?
My Xperia Ray is now recognized. Cool. It's fun but do not understand the purchase option? Where and what does this get me>?
Optional? I'll read that as mandatory :)
One little thing though: Don't you think that the main menu should have the THD and nVidia Tegra logos removed for non-Tegra devices?
Tankbuster
Feb 10 2012, 10:03
It's a bit laggy on a Desire HD.
Non-THD version is out - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.ideagames.a2fr - it supports 573 Android devices - minimum 2.2 / API level: 8-16+ / Supported screens: small-xlarge / OpenGL textures: all
Version is free to try - including 1 firing range, 3 weapons and 3 levels in career mode. You can get more content by InApp purchase for 1,99 USD.
There is no Tegra/Nvidia logo in non-THD version.
If you experience any issue please let us know. We will try to address it in next version.

Pretty cool! Works on like a charm on my Galaxy S II.
There is no Tegra/Nvidia logo in non-THD version.
Are you sure? This is the main menu screen on a Samsung Galaxy SII:
http://i.imgur.com/JTBHA.jpg (http://i.imgur.com/ZAAxS.jpg)
These do look like Tegra logos to me :p
Otherwise the game works fine, even openfeint doesn't have any issues for me when enabled, but the main menu screen looks kind of small, not using the whole potential of the display (see the gray borders on the sides screenshot).

What's the difference between the two?
the THD version is behind with updates, and the non THD has faster updates.
Example :
4 days ago i bought the THD version, which has no augmented reality yet.
So, i bought the NON-THD version, and that has augmented reality.
the THD version will get Augmented reality, only the updates are slower....
