When is public release of oxygen?

Well I thought that I might create a small FAQ/instructions on how to use Oxygen from the topics in this forum. Should I bother or not?

Im very serious about this:

Why dont we all write individual mails to BIS asking them...i mean TELLING them not to release oxy to the public. Tell them that if they release it to some losers who dont know how to model, then a lot of rubbish will come out (including bug-filled addons, addons that mess up your game, ect. ect.)
Motivate them too. Tell them we think strongly of and love our Private Forums. We are the kings here, not some losers who dont know how to model.

Or might i be crazy? What do you think?

well, arent you a bit arrogant there guys? I mean, there are so many skilled modelers outthere that dont have Oxy. Just visit the OFPEC IRC, its full of great modelers there that are craving for OXY but cant import their stuff because they dont have it. It would be a BIG waste and a shame for the comunity not to make O2 public sooner or later. BTW, there are crap addons comming out everyday even wivout oxy, so the argument of a crap-addon flood is a BIT dumb

I would have to agree with Sole on this one. I know plenty of kick-ass modelers who have LOTS of models made, but no way of importing them. And god knows everyone asks me to import their stuff for em. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif But i have too much on my own plate to do it. I mean, should O2 be released with Resistence (as none of us know that it even is)....no, i don&#39;t think it should. Seems a little early to me. I mean, i know some MODS aren&#39;t releasing some of their models until they get FileBank, and giving O2 to everyone when the MODs don&#39;t even have FileBank yet? That sounds a little qwerky. But, even if we sit here and protest and have a walk-out (ahh....good ol&#39; school days), BIS won&#39;t change their mind. Well how about not giving it to everyone, but only give US ModMakers an option to give it to whoever we feel can do the job properly? I also know heaps of great modellers out there, but don&#39;t give it to the public

I have to agree with Antichrist. Although you would have to gain the person&#39;s trust, so they dont give it to anybody else.

sorry, I wasn&#39;t trying to insult anyone, it just seems that everyone is frenziedly making m16s, be it the m4a223f or whatever, and I really don&#39;t care for that sort of addon, I mean an addon is meant to be an ADDon, i.e it should add something new to the game. There really isn&#39;t much point in making another version of something that is already in the game and was done well enough the first time around, just because it has a slightly different foregrip shape or whatever. I really hope this isn&#39;t the shape of things to come.
