I know theres always someone to spoil someone else's fun, but I'm gonna be the critic here. Your unit ideas are great but they seem very limited, alot of them just look like you have changed the Hue and stuff on the textures to make them look different. Eg all the sports cars and tractors are just plain colored, no new fetures or anything and they just all look alike... :\ Maybe sit down for a while longer and give a few a massive makeover or buidlt a texture from scrath?

1 a police BRDM (Soviet made vehicle) with English writing, is not correct. And on Everon there are probably only one or two cops with a white and blue Skoda.
Besides in a war situation al police authorities are handed over to the military.
2 Ural fire truck, on Everon they use PV3S trucks (Czech product) not an Ural (Soviet made), now don't go tell me the Soviets brought it with them.
Maybe they can hide the Ural in a secret base. Well ... secret, they won't be secret nomore. And i'd love to be a helicopter pilot in a US Apache.

the vehicles need more than a colour shift. The Police Hummer is the only really usefull one and its badly textured (no offense) - its needs proper police style textures rather than a colour tone shift and the word "Police".
The BRDM for the Everon police is a bit over the top, I'd have thought that they'd have a set of Skodas and a couple of Hummers.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that. I simply think their view of the mod as whole is skewed. From what I've seen, devil isn't some egotistical snob trying to show up people. It looks to me like he does what he does for fun, and possibly to create more interesting missions. Some people complained about having to download the mod to get missions b/c 'some idiot' decided to use it. From my experience, idiots make horrible mappers so why bother if you think only idiots will use the mod? The arguements are self defeating. The mod is nothing fantastic but it looks like fun.

Edit: in response to devils request for input:
A) A police PBR might be a good idea, I couldn't say for sure yet. It probably wouldn't be necessary, since we've yet to have missions that play more like GTA3 than OPF (believe me, that's what I'm waiting for here). Even if we did, police don't need their own boats, they can just hijack somebody.

B) I don't think a police jeep MG would be a good idea. I'm sitting here trying to remember the last time I saw a swat team cruising down the road open up on some shoplifters with a .50 cal, and it ain't happening. That is an exaggeration, but cops don't shoot from moving vehicles generally speaking, and for any other purpose an MG jeep is rather useless.

These civilian addons will drasticlly improve this feature of the game.
