How do i remove the HUD triangle from my team?

Now that im playing with platoons i hate the amount of green team triangles i get pointig out theie locations, what part of edit difficulty do i turn off to get rid of it? I've turning stuff off but im at a lose :(.

It is within the Optiions setting on the main page. You have to do it for all levels. Be it Rookie, Vetern, Elite, etc....

There are numerous settings within there. Friendly HUD is one of them. Click to disable.

Either that or don't place the units in the same group? Its really that easy...

Or if you want to lead the group the above doesn't make sense, do as meade95 says or play the game in higher difficulty.... veteren/expert being the one's without the group markers.... (of course if this isn't an option for you just edit recruit/regular)
