Play LAN with a friend online?

Hello, Me and A freind (we live 15 mins apart) are wondering how to play Flashpoint Online with each other (with are own servers), Hamachi didnt work for us and when we try to use lan we write 1 of are IP adresses into each of are computers but a game doesnt show up... Do you know how to help me? I remeber the lan thing working for us a while ago but now it doesnt
