The 17th Special Forces Group is a realism unit seeking to portray a fictional "17th" Special Forces Group modeled after the other United States Army Special Forces Groups before them. This group boasts multinational membership so that we can welcome people from all different time zones, and ensure that they will have people to play with. Members of the clan also speak a variety of languages including but not limited to Swedish, German, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Spanish, French and Danish. In addition to weekly missions, each Fire Team also has training missions weekly, though players are of course not limited to this few play weekly, the rest is generally thrown together ad hoc.
We also have our own editors and scripters who are considerably talented, as well as current and former members of the American, Swedish, and French armed forces to assist in the training of our members to the tactics of the aforementioned nations. We have a promotion and decorations system which we actively use to allow our members to progress within the unit. We have our own Ventrilo server, though we are considering switching to TS3, as well as our own forums, and xfire community that prospective members can check out.
