Attention OFP crew, LST helipad.

Whenever i try to land my chopper on the helipad of LST ship.. it sinks http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif can you make it possible to actually land on it? i cant see any practical use of it.. but would be fun`?

The LST is meant to be scenery, it is of little use and looks progressively worse the closer you get. Stick it on the horizon and its ominous silouette hangs there adding atmosphere, but it is a pointless unit. You can't get into it, or drive it, use its guns or destory it. Although get close enough you can refuel and resupplement your ammo.

Hmm... Thats weird, I seem to be able to land on my LST's PERFECTLY!

I've landed on it with every chopper, it's not very hard once you get the hang of it. If you accidently nick the LST with the chopper it will gain speed and float away from you, never had it sunk, though. You can't get of the chopper once you've touched down because you'll just fall into the water.

And you can destroy it, just fire an insane amount of rockets into it.

actually i dont who made it but there is a mod of the lst
that you can pilot. you cant do much with it and it i believe it was for ver. 1.27 i htink used the lst skin on a regular patrol boat. maybe that version would allow a chopper to land on it , i dunno.

You can land on it, but it starts bouncing a lot when you turn off the rotor. Just hover close to it and you can refuel and rearm

hey, if u want some thin out of that not to scale, and unrealistic ship, download that mod for the ship(which i cant rember the name of the mod) but you can land on it (cant turn off engines though) and re-arm, and re-fuel your helo on it. I also think you can repair on board.

In OFP you can't really land on any objects other than the physical ground.
If you land on the roof of a building, chopper will be quite unsteady on it and walking on the roof is hard at times.
Same thing with units, like LST.

hey, shut up.

On my version too, the LST jumps.

I can land on the front part of it fine, but with the chopper it cocks up.

I think that this bug was fixed for the American release.

Ya I can land too it just takes a while but when I get out I fall through. I also noticed i could completly submerge a chopper under water and fly it back out.

Im able to walk around on the deck when i disembark. ALthough some times my charecter gets stuck, but if i sprint i can get free.... Never fell of it though.

Also, I once landed on it with a cessna sucessfully, beat that!
